The selection of new cars is highlighted by the addition of the 2017??Mercedes-AMG F1 W08 EQ Power Formula One car, the first time a current-get hybrid F1 car is available in the Gran Turismo Series. Also included in the new update is the Le Mans-winning Mazda 787B.

Aside from the new cars, the new Gran Turismo Sport update also introduces a brand new track: Circuit de Sainte-Croix.
The fictional track comes with three layouts, the longest of which is almost 7 miles in length, all three layouts are also available in reverse mode. Furthermore, the update also introduces the ability for players to customize their race suits as well as a bunch of new career events.
