Gran Turismo Sport is due to receive its next update tomorrow as a brand new car will be introduced to the game.
Starting with tomorrow’s update, players will be able to drive the Mazda RX-Vision GT3??Concept car, a fictional Gr.3 race version of Mazda’s RX-Vision concept car designed for the 2015 Tokyo Auto Show.
The one-car update is a significant change of development pace for Gran Turismo Sport that has seen a steady stream of free monthly car packs since its release in 2017, including several new tracks until the start of the year when Kazunori Yamauchi officially confirmed that the bulk of Polyphony Digital’s staff is working on the game’s yet to be named predecessor.
With the Playstation 5 still on track for a Christmas 2020 release, Sony will unveil the first slew of games for the new platform in early June and with Gran Turismo being one of the platform’s best-selling exclusive franchises, there’s a good chance it will include a look at GTs future as well.
