Unboxing A Legend: Indianapolis 500

Tim Wheatley of RaceSimCentral has released a new video, taking us on a lovely trip down memory lane by unboxing Electronic Arts’ Indianapolis 500: The Simulation, widely considered to be one of the first ever proper simulation titles.

Originally released in 1989, the title holds a fair bit of sentimental value for me as well as Indianapolis 500 came bundled with my first-ever Soundblaster sound card back in the day, making it the first sim I ever played.

Using a bundled version, I only got the installation disk though and missed out on all the nice goodies Tim shows off in the video above, including the delightfully 80ies looking game box and the comprehensive manual.
