The FIA World Endurance Championship returns to the Nürburgring next week as another chapter is being added to the historic Nürburgring 1000 kilometer race event history.
Unfortunately, the world’s fastest sports cars are not racing on the iconic Nordschleife like they did until the mid-80s but will be using the Grand Prix track as Le Mans Prototypes are banned from competition on the old circuit.
Nothing’s impossible in the virtual world though, that’s why the guys over at TMG have taken their LMP1 simulator to complete a bunch of quick laps around the green with the hybrid-powered TS040 LMP1 car.
As reported before, Toyota’s state of the art simulator uses a genuine full-size TS040 LMP1 chassis, as visible in the video as well!
