RaceRoom and DTM have announced the official DTM Online Championship, using Sector 3’s upcoming DTM Experience 2015 title.
Running from June 11 to October 19, the Official DTM Online Championship will consist of 18 rounds held on the DTM schedule race tracks.
Each round will consist of multi-day time attack qualification races, the fastest twenty drivers from each time attack race will then face off in a multiplayer race against each other, joined by up to four real-life DTM racers for each round.
With only the nine best results of each driver counting towards the season-end championship, drivers can join the competition even with the season still in progress and still have a fair chance of competing for the title.
All participants will get free access to the DTM 2015 content ahead of the public release of DTM Experience 2015 later this year.
