Sector 3 Studios have revealed a major addition to their RaceRoom Racing Experience title as Audi’s R8 LMS GT2 is poised to join the simulation this month.
Powered by a normally-aspirated V10 engine, the R8 LMS GT2 is a powerful customer race car built to the GT2 regulations. Weighing 1350 kilograms, the 640hp engine means a power to weight ratio of 2,1 kilogram per hp.
The R8 LMS GT2 will join R3E’s Porsche 911 GT2 in the sim’s GT2 class, the car will be part of what the studio describes as a “quite hefty” December update, so look forward to more announcements soon!
