Mike Cantwell is working on bringing the historical Oran Park track to rFactor 2 after having received permission from Brendon Pywell, Brendan Elliott & Chris Larmour??who created the original track all the way back in 2008.
12 years ago, laser-scanned tracks were still a rare thing and for a modding project to rely on LiDAR data was almost unheard of. Thankfully Brendon Brendan Elliott managed to get their hands on Oran Park’s data before the track was demolished in 2009 to make room for a housing estate.
The result was one of the finest rFactor modding tracks ever created (you can find the original release here) and Mike is now bringing the track to rFactor 2, adding new details and other bells & whistles.
