Sim racing is having a special presence in the Renault Megane Eurocup series these days as race driver Toni Forne is running a big Mak Corp decal on his car this season.
Mak Corp has been building a custom Megane simulator for him to practice for upcoming races, sim racers can try out the open beta of the public rFactor version of the simulator here.
Powered Renault Sport Technologies, the Megane Trophy is a spec series using tubeframe race cars powered by a 3.5 liter V6 engine that puts out 360hp. The cars weigh little over 1000 kilos and feature advanced racing technologies such as a paddle-shifting system, double wishbone suspension and adjustable dampers.
