Following yesterday’s announcement of the Corvette C8.R coming to iRacing with this months’ build release, iRacing has now released a first preview video of the upcoming car.
The video not only gives us a rundown of Corvette Racing’s impressive list of accolades but also shows plenty of gameplay footage of the upcoming car, letting us listen in on the very un-Corvette-like sound of the car that is no longer powered by the same V8 engine layout as its successful predecessors.
The C8.R??it made its debut at the 2020 Rolex 24 Hours race in Daytona but unfortunately will be missing out on the Le Mans 24 Hours this year due to the Covid-19 crisis, ending a 21-year streak of consecutive (and often times victorious) Le Mans participations by the Corvette Racing team.
