Last weekend saw the 2016 edition of iRacing’s annual 24 Hours of Daytona race event that a large grid of sim racers compete in a twice around the clock marathon.
Thanks to the simulation’s driver swap feature, iRacing members can not just form teams to tackle the long events but also support each others in spotter & crew chief functions.
The event used a mixed-class field, featuring the Chevrolet C7 Corvette Daytona Prototype on the sharp end of the field and several GT3-class cars to make up for a proper endurance-themed grid.
