Back in September, I posted a first story on Kazunori Yamauchi hinting at the possiblity of Gran Turismo 7 on Playstation 4 not being too far away.
It seems that there was a lot of merrit to this as Yamauchi has once again spoken about Gran Turismo 7 being a lot closer than many people might expect:
???We don???t want to take too long on Gran Turismo 7,??? Kazunori told Top Gear. ???Best-case scenario? Next year. In GT6 we really had to tune the software 100 per cent to maximise the PS3???s architecture, but of course the PS4???s hardware is much better, so I think the overall quality of the game across the board will be boosted when you come to play it.???
While the GT creator is currently busy promoting the upcoming release of Gran Turismo 6 on the Playstation 3, work on the PS4 version is already well underway as a tech demo has already been spotted by industry insider Ahsan Rasheed:
GT 7 tech demo. Nothing to describe other than it looked amazing. It was snowing and at night. Cockpit view, then turned to outside the car.
