Shaun Cole’s The SimPit has put together a very interesting video on last week’s Visa Vegas E-Race, one of the biggest sim racing eSports events to date.
Hosted at Las Vegas CES Expo, the E Race featured ten of the world’s quickest sim racers going head to head with twenty drivers from the FIA Formula E series, using virtual versions of the electric-powered open wheelers.
The event was not just made significant by the participation of these real- racing aces, it also stood out due to the very large purse as drivers competed for a million dollars, with the winning driver taking away $200,000.
Unfortunately, considering the large purse and exposure of the event, the outcome of ??the race was overshadowed by some controversy. For more, watch the video below.
