100R has created a very interesting video, entitled “The Evolution of Gran Turismo”, right in time for the franchise’s 20th birthday.
The video features footage from all major Gran Turismo titles, starting with the 1997 Playstation 1 version that kickstarted the long-running franchise.
Not counting mobile versions, the Gran Turismo franchise has made appearances on all Playstation platforms so far, with Gran Turismo Sport due to carrying the torch to the current Playstation 4 later this year.
Aside from taking us for a little stroll down memory lane, the video is also a nice reminder on how much virtual racing has been evolved in the past 20 years.
