Reiza Studios have released their June development update, sharing plenty of progress on their simulation with us.

Currently, the studio is working on bringing Automobilista to version 1.0, beta testers are already enjoying access to version 0.95 that includes two new content items, including the semi-fictional Mendig Flugplatz track and the Copa Montana. Likely also part of the 1.0 update will be the??Formula Vintage series open wheeler.

While these two content items will be free of charge with a regular 1.0 update, Reiza has also announced the first paid DLC pack for the title, unveiling the Brit Pack. As the name suggests, the DLC package will focus on British racing content, introducing three new tracks as Cadwell, Brands Hatch & Oulton Park are being added to the simulation. On the car front, the pack will introduce the Ultima GTR as well as the MCR Sports 2000 and several Caterham models.

The pack will be available for $19.99, with items also selling separately, ranging from $1.99 for cars and $4.99 for each of the three tracks.

Furthermore, the studio has also launched part of their Virtual Xperience portal (VX) web portal that will become the hub for Automobilista users. Right now, the portal offers extensive leaderboard functionality, as of now only users of the 0.95 beta can upload new times though.

The VX portal will be expanded in the future, introducing a league finder as well as official servers.

Successor to the studios???
