Polyphony Digital is currently working on bringing their hugely-popular Gran Turismo franchise to the Playstation 4 and in a recent interview, series creator Kazunori Yamauchi talked about how working with the new platform will shape the franchise.
“Everything will be running naturally,??? Yamauchi revealed?????PS3 was much, much more difficult. The high quality of data that we have being rendered on the PS4 I think is going to make an incredible difference.???
???For GT7, myself and my staff have a clear vision: to do everything we couldn???t do in GT6,??? Yamauchi continued. ???We want to make it very Gran Turismo. By that I mean it???s going to be a game that matches the very era that we live in, in 2015 or 2016.???
New features planned for the first Playstation 4 version of the franchise include an all-new sound engine??that will hopefully address the series long-running weakness when it comes to car audio. Gran Turismo 7 is not expected to be available before late 2015 the earliest.
