Team RMT has announced that their Megane Trophy Mod for rFactor 2 is due to be released soon.
According to the team, the mod will be available some timei in January. Until then, you can check out plenty of new previews below.
The mod will gives us the chance to compare ISI’s stock content Renault Megane with a community product as RMT’s car is 100% sractch-made.
Veteran sim racers will remember that this car was originally created for rFactor 1 and the team’s World Super GT 2 mod. RMT decided to drop rFactor in favor of rFactor 2, a decision the team partly regrets now.
Following a slow down period due to rFactor 2’s development time and a busy private life, the team is back to full swing now as the Megane will be followed up with more WSGT 2 cars that will be released for rFactor 2 later.
Powered Renault Sport Technologies, the Megane Trophy is a spec series using tubeframe race cars powered by a 3.5 liter V6 engine that puts out 360hp. The cars weigh little over 1000 kilos and feature advanced racing technologies such as a paddle-shifting system, double wishbone suspension and adjustable dampers.
