Team RMT has released a new preview of their World Super GT 2 mod for rFactor 2, showing us a high-resolution render of the Audi R8C.
While the car’s exterior is already looking mighty spectacular, the team is looking for help with the cockpit work as reference data is seemingly rare. If you have any photos of the car’s cockpit, make sure to send them their way.
The R8C was part of Audi???s works efforts at the 1999 Le Mans 24 Hours where the Ingolstadt-based make entered four prototypes. The R8C were designed in the UK and powered by the same V8 twin-turbo engine as the open-top R8Rs build by Dallara. While both R8Cs failed to finish the race with gearbox woes, one R8R finished Audi???s Le Mans debut in 3rd, leading the company to ditch the R8C concept in favor of its open-top sister.
Successor to World Super GT for GTR 2, World Super GT 2 will bring some of of the most legendary GT cars of the 90s as well as Super GT GT500 class machinery to rFactor 2.
