Two weeks ago, Black Bean Games has released their World Rally Championship title and as expected, first modding of the PC version is already underway.
Pay2021 has now released a first set of new skins both for the current WRC cars and the Group B monsters included in the title. If you??re interested in the skins, you can find detailed instructions on how to include them as well as the download link below.
Instructions:
– Deflate CARS.MIX with tool:??Mixfile Remixer, v 0.1.6
– Replace in CARS\CAR005\PICTURES files Chassis_061.dds, Glass_061.dds and Glass_mask_061.dds with te ones included in this file.
– Put CARS.MIX back together with Mixfile Remixer
– Choose tab ‘create new mixfile’
– Choose Mixfile format SB-X/V8
– Choose path and file CARS.MIX
– Click ‘pack new mixfile’
You get a large file named cars.mix .
– Replace the cars.mix (after back-up of course) in the game directory with the just created file.
– Run the game and pray it doesn’t crash.
