VisionRacer, creators of the VR3 racing rig that is popular both with professional users and sim racers at home, have launched a new website and three new products to celebrate the occasion.
The company has launched two new editions of the proven VR3, both improving the long-running product and making it more affordable for beginners. The new “Black Edition” VR3 comes with a high quality mild steel with a satin powder coated finish, having ??the same features as the regular VR3 except for using a black fibre glass seat instead of the carbon one used at the more expensive model.
This results in a lower starting price of $780, buyers of the “Black Edition” can choose to update their rig with the carbon seat right when ordering or later as VisionRacer will be selling upgrade parts for existing owners soon. The “Black Label” edition is available now in the US & Australasia with Europe following around Christmas time.
The second new product is the “Chrome Edition” of the VR3. Selling for the same price as the initial VR3, the rig has been beefed up with harder wearing components and materials to make the rigs even more durable. Improvements include increased seat side plates for higher shifter stability and independent adaptor plates for the wheel and shifter mounts, allowing the VR3 to accommodate all popular steering wheels from Logitech, Fanatec & Thrustmaster.
Last but not least, VisionRacer is also developing a new triple-screen stand for the VR3 that accommodates three “24 screens with internally-running cables for a clean look.
The screen-holder will have a limited launch as VisionRacer is looking for 50 orders to get production started, interested customers can inquire about the stand here,??All other products are now available on the recently-launched SimRoom website.
