If you´re among the 3% of VirtualR readers who access the site using a mobile device such as an iPhone or another smartphone, you might have noticed that the site loads rather slowly on such devices.
This changes now as I´ve set up a new mobile device version, getting rid of all not-needed ballast and making the site easier accessible on phones. Despite the no-frills approach, the new design of course includes all content on VirtualR including screenshots and videos (flash capability of your device provided) as well as comments.
The new mobile version works on all popular mobile devices such as iPhones, Blackberrys & Android phones. If you don’t like the new mobile version, the full version of the site is of course still accessible by following a link at the bottom of the site.
You can check out the look of the mobile version below, the site now loads more than 60% quicker on phones so there’s no reason to not get your sim racing news fix while on the road!
