iRacing has released a preview video of an updated version of Road America that is coming as part of the 2020 Season 3 build in June.
Road America is one of iRacing’s legacy tracks, having been part of the online racing simulator for over 12 years now. To bring it up to 2020 standard, the track has been equipped with new road surface, curbs and trackside signs.
The updates however are purely graphical as the track has not been re-scanned and as such does not come with an updated/more detailed tack mesh.
The improved Road America is just one of many updates coming with next month’s build that will also include the historical NASCAR Winston Cup Cars, two entry-level Road to Indy Open Wheelers and the BMW M4 GT4.
