Following the successful launch of the Thrustmaster TX 458 Italia wheel for Xbox One, Thrustmaster is now offering a budget alternative for the new platform as well.
The Ferrari F458 comes with the same authentic Ferrari design and ergonomics, lacking some of its bigger brother’s more sophisticated features that for a lower retail price.
While the TX wheel comes with full-blown Force Feedback, the 458 Spider wheel instead uses a patented “bungee cord” system for linear resistance. Some other high-end features have been cut as well, including the ability to use replaceable rims and the 900 degrees of rotation as the Spider wheel is limited to 240 degrees.
The upside is a very affordable retail price as the Ferrari 458 Spider wheel retails for 99.99 Euros/Dollars, including a two-pedal set.
