The M6 GT3 became??BMW???s weapon of choice for GT3-class racing starting with the 2016 season, replacing the successful BMW Z4 GT3. The M6 represents a major shift in technology as BMW is moving to a 4.4 liter twin-turbo, offering up to 585 HP of power. The M6 GT3 has clinched major sports car racing honors, including the Spa Francorchamps 24 Hour race and a win in this year’s Macau Guia Race.
The developers are ensuring that the M6 GT3 will have proper competition as well as the Porsche 911 GT3 R is poised to join rFactor 2 as well, so rFactor 2 racers can look forward to the battle for German GT3 supremacy in their simulation soon.
