Image Space Incorporated has revealed the system requirements for their upcoming rFactor 2 simulation, giving sim racers a rough idea of the required hardware power to run the much-anticipated title.
Given that the title comes with a much improved physics and graphics engine including post-processing effects, new shaders and more details, the requirements are significantly higher than those for rFactor which was released six years ago.

rFactor 2 will introduce various improvements to the modding-friendly simulation including weather, driver animations and a refined graphics engine alongside plenty of current and historic motor racing content. In a recent blog, ISI’s Tim Wheatley hinted at an upcoming public beta phase for the title.
