rFactor 2 – Nvidia 3D Vision Profile Confirmed

A reference to the upcoming rFactor 2 can be found in the latest GeForce driver released by Nvidia yesterday, confirming 3d Vision compatibility of the new simulation.

Nvidia has released a new version of their GeForce driver software yesterday and the changelog reveals something interesting for sim racers as it includes a reference to Image Space Incorporated’s upcoming rFactor 2 title.

Among the changes in version 285.62 is a list of newly-added Nvidia 3D Vision profiles. Most of the titles listed (including F1 2011) are already available, one is not though as rFactor 2 is included in the list as well.

Nvidia 3D Vision automatically transforms PC games into full 3D without the need for additional game patches. rFactor 2 isn’t the first of ISI’s titles to support 3D Vision as rFactor already maintains a “excellent” rating on Nvidia’s website regarding 3D Vision capatabilites.
