Image Space Incorporated has announced some new historic content that will add to the historic Formula cars already available in rFactor 2.
ISI has several historical cars planned for rFactor 2 as listed below, providing an interesting mix on open wheelers and sports car machinery, including the 2003 winner of the Le Mans 24 Hours:
Mercedes-Benz W196 and W196 Streamline (which we had mentioned previously on our forums as being licensed)
Mercedes-Benz 300 SLR (as above)
1966-1968 Eagle Climax-Weslake T1G/Mk I (as above)
1968 Eagle Mk IV (which was mentioned in our Indy announcement)
1984 Toleman TG184 (new info)
2003 Bentley Speed 8 (new info)
The renders below show the Howston G4 and G6, which are based off the Lola T70. ISI’s currently running a community painting contest for these cars, allowing the best liveries to be included in the final title.
Adding to that are some prizes that are up for grabs for the best painters, more details on the contest can be found here.
