Studio 397 continue their takeover of rFactor 2’s development that was first announced in September, relocating the title’s community to a new home.
Formally hosted by Image Space Incorporated, the official rFactor 2 forums have moved into a new home on the Studio 397 website. All posts and members of the old forum have been retained as the forums have been wrapped into an appealing new design.
For a title as depended on the modding community as rFactor 2, a well-functioning community hub is a critical feature that seems to be well taken care of by the new owners.
On the development end of things, the new studio keeps plugging away at the planned DirectX 11 and virtual reality support that is due to be added to rFactor 2 soon.
