Reiza Studios, creators of the ever-expanding Game Stock Car Extreme title, have launched a crowd-funding campaign to strengthen the studio’s further developments.
The crowdfunding campaign is planned to raise the required funds to allow Reiza to keep publishing free updates for their titles, a strategy that is no longer financially viable without additional backing.
The studio recently licensed the source code of ISI’s gMotor 2 engine that Reiza’s games are built upon, allowing the studio to add further functionality to the proven engine, including:
- Graphics & audio enhancements
- Physics developments to include tire damage, realistic drivetrain modeling, enhanced FFB
- New hi-res UI design + HUD system customized for each car type
- Support for long distance races
- Automatic steering ratio adjustment + Support for more controller inputs & newer hardware
- A Custom championship tool so users can build their own seasons for offline racing.
To make these changes possible, Reiza wants to raise $78.000 of funding from the community, giving gamers access to the team’s development forum & development builds in return.
Players can chip in by choosing one of 12 different commitment levels, each coming with a set of perks, ranging from development forum access to the a fully-fledged VIP race visit at Interlagos!
