As revealed a while ago when 6e66o released a video of his simulator, Simbin is working on adding improved road surface feedback to their RaceRoom Racing Experience title.
Now, a new preview of the feature has been released, giving us a glimpse of what to expect of the new feature.
Instead of basing the road surface data on laser-scanning like iRacing or Assetto Corsa, R3E uses CAD & telemetry data to recreate the road surface.
The new feature will be added on a track by track basis, the next R3E update will introduce the new feature to the following tracks:
- N??rburgring
- Hockenheim
- Oschersleben
- Lausitzring
- Zandvoort
- Red Bull Ring
In an effort to further improve the title’s Force Feedback, Simbin’s also working on physics updates for the existing cars that will be released on a car by car basis.
