It has been a very eventful years for Sector 3 Studios, the group of people that started the year as Simbin Studios.
Not only has the studio changed its name, Sector 3 has also released plenty of addon content for their RaceRoom Racing Experience title, ever since putting the Simbin name into the history books.
The Swedish studio has chosen to end the year with a bang, announcing a very famous track addition that is due to join the simulation in 2015 – The Nürburgring Nordschleife.
Not only will R3E feature the world’s most famous race track, it will also be the first track inside R3E to be made using laser-scan data.
R3E will be the next title in line to feature a laser-scanned version of the Green Hell, following both iRacing and Assetto Corsa’s versions who are currently in development as well as Forza Motorsport 5’s Nordschleife that is at least partly based on laser-scan data.
