A few weeks ago, Sector 3 Studios revealed that a first pass at a time of day system would soon be added to their RaceRoom Racing Experience title.
Now, the studio has released first previews of the new system at work, showing the tracks in R3E in various lighting conditions.
The new system is planned to be introduced with RaceRoom Racing Experience’s next update scheduled to be released in early October. The first pass of the system however won’t be fully dynamic, giving players the chance to choose from preset time of day conditions.
A fully-dynamic system with night racing is not part of the studio’s immediate plans and might be added later on.
