Slightly Mad Studios have revealed a sneak peek of a brand new car coming to their Project CARS title on the game’s Instagram account.
The previews show work in progress shots of the Honda-powered Dallara DW12 Indycar in two different states of completion.
The DW12 is part of Project CARS’ Indianapolis 500 license that was announced back in the summer of 2014.
Named DW12 in honor of the late Dan Wheldon, the 2014-spec Indycar chassis has first being introduced before the 2012 Indycar Series season, aiming to make open wheel racing more safe, especially on oval tracks.
The car is powered by a turbo-charged Honda 2.2 liter V6 engine, providing up to 700hp depending on turbo boost & push to pass feature usage.
