Almost a year ago, Project CARS hit the shelves in Europe and the United States, becoming an instant success as the first ever title bred by the studios’ World of Mass Development platform sold a million copies within weeks of being released.
Ever since then, the WMD-powered title has kept going strong, being kept fresh by constant feature updates and content packs that were released on a monthly basis.
Now, the title branches out to new frontiers as a special version for the Japanese market has been announced. Dubbed the “Perfect Edition” in Japan, the Japanese version of Project CARS will be available exclusively for Playstation 4.
Much like the “Game of the Year Edition” that is due to launch internationally in May, the “Perfect Edition” includes all the new features & content that has been added since the initial release. Furthermore, Japanese pre-order customers also receive a special Ridge Racer-inspired livery pack.
The Project CARS Perfect Edition will be available in Japan starting June 9th. To honor the occasion, a brand new video trailer and a Japanese website have been released.
