Slightly Mad Studios have announced that race car driver Nicolas Hamilton has rejoined the studio to serve as Handling Consultant on Project CARS 2.
Hamilton will continue to share extensive feedback during the title’s development, both with Slightly Mad Studios’ development staff and the members in the World of Mass Development forums.

Despite being born with??Cerebral Palsy, Hamilton has made an impressive career in racing, moving up through the ranks of the British Renault Clio Cup Series as well as the European Touring Car Cup to become the first ever disabled driver to compete in the world-famous British Touring Car Championship this year!
Interested gamers can now become part of Project CARS 2’s development process by joining the WMD funding campaign. Members can??choose from one of five??membership tiers, starting at 50 British pounds, each tier comes with a set of benefits, the highest tier even includes a Michelin star dinner with Ian Bell and some real-life driving fun in a Ferrari F458 Spider!
All tiers include access to regular development builds and the World of Mass Development forum as well as votes in polls that will decide key game design decisions on the new title.A participation on the game???s returns is no longer included in the membership packages due to legal reasons.
As with funding for the first Project CARS title, packages are available on a first-come, first-serve basis, once the required funding has been acquired joining will no longer be possible.
Like Project CARS, Project CARS 2 will be developed with the PC as the lead platform for development and build testing, also being released for Sony???s Playstation 4, Microsoft???s Xbox One and SteamOS.
