2015 will be the year of the Nürburgring Nordschleife in sim racing as no less than three-laser scanned versions of the Green Hell are due to be released for various simulations this year.
The first one to make a laser-scanned Nordschleife available for the PC were Kunos Simulazioni with their “Dream DLC” pack for Assetto Corsa.
So, how does the brand new version stack up against the competition? Below is a comparison video, showing the AC version alongside the Gran Turismo 6 version, Forza Motorsport’s “sort-of” laser-scanned version as well as the Project CARS version which will be the only Nordschleife released this year to be available across all three major platforms!
