EA has released a bunch of new Need for Speed Shift previews, giving us a closer look at the Italian Pagani Zonda R.
Based on the Pagani Zonda road car, the Zonda R is the clubsport version of the Italian supercar. Powered by a six-liter Mercedes Benz V12 engine putting out 739hp,?? the Zonda R is aimed to compete with other clubsport cars like the Ferrari FXX and the Maserati MC12.
Developed by Slightly Mad Studios (former Blimey! Games) and distributed by EA, Need for Speed Shift is expected to be released in September 2009 for the PC and all major consoles. A demo of Shift has been announced to be available this summer.
