Below is a new Need for Speed Shift video that compares the so-called casual mode with the pro mode, showing the differences between both difficulty levels.
The video is narrated in German, it starts in the driving aids setup screen and proceeds to a race on the Nordschleife with a 600hp Dodge Viper. The first part of the video shows the casual mode which includes stability control and even auto-braking. Starting with minute 1:35, all aids are turned off, causing the Viper to become more of a handful. The car can be seen spinning on the grass as well as on track, the difference between both modes is very well noticeable.
Developed by Slightly Mad Studios (former Blimey! Games) and distributed by EA, Need for Speed Shift will be released on September 15th (North America) & 17th (Europe) for the PC and all major consoles. A demo of Shift is expected to be released any day now.
