Following the E3 video trailer, here’s more video material on Need for Speed Shift as a short new preview video has been released, revealing another exciting real life race car addition.
Following the earlier seen Aston Martin DBR9 GT1 car, the video shows us the BMW E92 M3 GT2 that races in the American Le Mans series. Built by BMW Motorsport and raced by Rahal Letterman Racing, the BMW M3 is BMW’s weapon of choice in the ALMS GT2 class. Making its debut at the 2009 12 Hours of Sebring, the car has already clinched podium finishes in the hands of Dirk M??ller and Tom Milner.
Developed by Slightly Mad Studios (former Blimey! Games) and distributed by EA, Need for Speed Shift is expected to be released in September 2009 for the PC and all major consoles. A demo of Shift has been announced to be available this summer.
