Following the successful release of the Audi TT-R DTM 2003-2004 for GTR2,??Aleksss, Alless & Schraubzwinge of Team GMT have picked up on another of their projects the Mercedes Benz CLK-GTR 1998.
Since the last previews of the car had been posted last year, half of the work done on the car has been lost with technical problems, forcing aleksss to redo the car. This hasn’t hurt the quality of the car one bit as you can check out in the previews below.
Even though stuff like LODs, physics & sounds are still left to be completed, the team expects the car to be ready for release at the end of this month.
Powered by a six-liter V12 engine, the CLK-GTR was Mercedes??? weapon of choice during the 1998 FIA GT championship, a slightly different version of the car also tackled the 1998 24 Hours of Le Mans.
