Khan1670 and zwiss have released two GTR2 conversions of Com8’s excellent tracks for rFactor, treating the simulation to two premium-quality tracks.
While Khan1670 has converted the Mainz-Finthen airfield circuit, zwiss is responsible for the GTR2 version of the legendary Salzburgring. Both tracks have been equipped with GTR2-specific features such as wet-weather reflections and improved AIWs.
Located near the German city of Mainz, the former US Army Airfield Mainz-Finthen was used as a DTM venue from 1984 until 1990. Initially released for rFactor, the track will also be making its way to GTR2 and GTR Evolution in the future.
Following the demise of the A1 Ring, the Salzburgring is Austria???s last remaining operational race track. Located outside the city of Salzburg close to the German border, the 4.2 kilometer race track was opened in 1969 and ??features two long straights and fifteen corners.
