=====What is in this first version for rFactor2?=====
all the basics
– realroad with ~1.5m-square road sections (build 240 realroad shader)
– realroad profiles
– wet weather road reflections
– animated marshals (some have been customised)
– hdr profiles

This v0.9 is meant to be a fairly minimal migration of the circuit from rF1 to rF2.
There hasn’t been much “update” work carried out so far.
Some textures have been adjusted to work a bit better with the daylight and HDR systems.

=====Known Issues & Non-Implemented Features=====

===The AI
– Sometimes they’ll hop onto the dirt banks on the inside of a few corners.
– They’ll rarely form up correctly after the warmup lap, primarily due to the 3-2-3-2… grid layout (skipping the warmup lap is a fine solution).
– Some cars may collide/crash in the first corner of a race (more likely in rainy conditions), in the Viaduct section, along King’s Bridge, and on approach to Tannery Corner.
– F1 and some other cars may collide with tyre markers.

===Animations
– The flags and bunting are still 2D texture animations, rather than bone-based animations.
– Some of the animations have small glitches and sometimes the marshal’s headphone’s are floating.

===Wet Road Reflections
– Fences and terrain are not currently reflected due to the nature of the reflection system.

===Water/River
– Have not yet added newer style of water animation/reflection.

===General Efficiency / Optimisation
– Due to starting this project as a beginner, and also using a few GPL-era models, there are more draw-calls going on than there needs to be. The newer models I’ve made are generally assigned only a single material and make less cpu load despite higher polycounts, and they look better. It is planned that the older models will be updated or replaced.

===Continued Development
– The main target of development will be updates/remakes of a number of buildings/structures.
– 3D trees for track-side trees are planned.

Located outside of Longford, Longford Circuit was a 7 kilometer race track on the Australian island of Tasmania. The circuit opened in 1953 and was operational until 1968, its layout included nine corners, the scenic circuit included a railway crossing as well as a bridge and a viaduct.
