Three weeks ago, I posted a story on Logitech’s decision to drop out of the market for console peripherals, speculating that this might also affect the PC range including the popular G25 & G27 wheels.
Shaun & Darin of InsideSimRacing have done some excellent research and got a quote from Logitech on the issue in their latest TWISR show, confirming that Logitech stays committed to the PC market:
The PC gaming is a growing and Logitech has a strong core competency in key peripherals for this market. If a gaming peripheral works with a PC it would be included as part of our strategic focus.
This is excellent news for all fans of Logitech steering wheels. The question now is: When will Logitech unveil a new steering wheel model to take the fight to Fanatec & Thrustmaster?
