iRacing is filling a major void in their portfolio of tracks, adding the legendary Circuit de La Sarthe to their online racing simulation.
Right in time for this weekend’s real-life Le Mans 24 Hours, iRacing has announced that the home of the world’s most important endurance race will be made to available to subscribers later this year.
Located in French city of Le Mans, the Circuit de la Sarthe is a semi-permanent race track used for anual Le Mans 24 Hours race. The track is 13.6 kilometers in length and includes one of the longest straights in motor racing, the famous Hunaudieres, that is a public road for all but one week each year.
To get people hyped up for the release later this year, iRacing has put together a preview video featuring Le Mans legend Frank Biela, showing off plenty of work in progress impressions of the French track.
