Fanatec continues what has been a remarkable string of new product reveals as two new wheel rims for the CSW base have been revealed.
Starting with the Classic wheel rim a few weeks ago, Fanatec has revealed no less than six different new wheel rims lately, running what is surely the largest push of new products in the history of sim racing hardware.
The two newest creations are the Flat1, a look-alike of Momo’s popular Endurance racing rim featuring a built-in tuning display, as well as a similar,??GT rim featuring a built-in display holder.
The latter was revealed in a spectacular fashion as race car driver Rene Rast showed off the wheel in action during one of his Project CARS’ runs in his home simulator. The wheel does not just feature a modular button system but also comes with a built-in power supply for additional devices, allowing gadgets such as displays??& phones??to be charged during longer races.
Both new wheels sell for 349 Euros/Dollars, the standard price for most of these new rims (excluding the Formula Carbon rim that sells for less).
