The Japanese Super GT Series is somewhat of a wet dream for all GT racing fans. The organisers favour a concept of less HP, more downforce. While the cars only have 300/500hp, teams are giving lots of freedom when it comes to aerodynamics. The result are spectacular looking cars that would instantly lead to heart-attacks for European FIA or ACO officials.
The sim community is still waiting for a proper mod to simulate this series, a wish that is now partly granted for GTR2 players. From Juice Bottle comes SGT300, bringing a handful of Super GT cars to GTR2. Cars include a re-skinned Lamborghini Murcielago as well as heavily edited Ferrari 360, Nissan 350Z and Porsche 996 GT3-RS for the full Super GT look.
The mod is worth a look in its current state, although its obvious that the project is still in development. Some textures are not as high-res as others, the modeling work on the new aero parts is very nice though.
