S.Victor & Corti have relaxed a new version of their rFactor 2 conversion of Jim Pearson’s massive Isle of Man Mountain Circuit.
Created in a painstakingly detailed effort over the course of 14 years, Jim’s scratch-made track is three times as long as the legendary N??rburgring Nordschleife, making its creation one of the most impressive feats in the history of sim racing modding.
Officially known as the Snaefell Mountain Course, the 61 kilometer track is home of the legendary Isle of Man Tourist Trophy motor bike race. The track layout consists of over 200 corners, the start/finish area is located in the town of Douglas, the capital of the Isle of Man.
Compared to the slightly longer and equally daunting Targa Florio track, the Mountain Course has a more flowing and fast layout that makes it suitable even for high-power open wheelers or prototypes as you can see in the video below.
