The Group 5 Modding Team has released their maiden mod project for GTR2, allowing sim racers to drive the legendary IROC Porsche 911 RSR.
Launched in 1973, the International Race Of Champion Series held annual racing events in the United States, seeing famous race drivers from different disciplines go head to head. The series’ maiden season used identical Porsche 911 RSR 3.0 that were raced by famous drivers like Emerson Fittipaldi, Richard Petty, AJ Foyt and Mark Donohue who ended up winning the first IROC championship.
The mod includes all cars from the series’ round at Riverside. To download it, signing up to the team’s site is required, the mod is well worth the few seconds of effort though.
