iRacing has announced the fourth installment of their annual iRacing Pro Race Of Champions.
Held since 2011, the live sim event sees professional race car drivers from a variety of of racing discliplines go head to head in a virtual racing environment, with the prize money being donated to the winner’s favorite charity.
Unfortunately, iRacing seems to have changed the format for this year, dropping the road-racing portion of the event as this year’s race will use the Late Model stock car at Iowa Speedway.
Nevertheless, plenty of popular race car drivers have signed up to compete, including Scott Speed, Justin Wilson, Alex Gurney, Tommy Kendall, ??Philipp Eng, Nick Tandy & Ron Capps.
The 2014 iRacing Pro Race of Champions is due to kick off on December 17, the event will be broadcast live on Twitch.
