iRacing has released a well-made preview video of their upcoming Imola track, highlighting some of the changes that the traditional venue has undergone during its existence.
Imola for iRacing has been in development for many years, with reports of laser-scanning work to have been completed going back two years and the initial licensing announcement dating back all the way to 2013.
Officially known as the Autodromo Enzo e Dino Ferrari, the track has been majorly revamped after the 2006 season including a brand new pit complex and layout changes. Most importantly, the new layout lacks the final Variante Bassa chicane when used for car racing, creating a long flat-out straight all the way from Rivazza to the Traguardo corner.
The track will be available for purchase for iRacing members next month!
