iRacing has launched a new officially-sanctioned online racing championship, partnering with the German VLN series.
Once a national affair, the VLN has become increasingly popular in international racing circles in recent years mainly due to its home track as the series races exclusively on the N??rburgring Nordschleife.
Using grids compromised of both GTs & touring cars and GT3-class machinery on the sharp end of the field, the VLN regularly boasts 150+ car grids in more than ten classes.
iRacing’s virtual championship will give players a small sample of what VLN racing is about, featuring four-hour races in three classes.
